Two Day Make a Leather Cross Body Bag Workshop with Alby from Ivy Makers.

We are very excited to invite you to join Alby of Ivy Makers for TWO FULL DAYS of leather craft to create a beautiful Cross Body Bag.
Together we will cut the leather using a template and punch holes in it with a mallet and punch tool, ready for stitching and adding the magnetic closure.
The makers will learn how to use a saddle stitch technique to assemble the piece, and use a setting tool to add rivets to the handle.
We will crease and seal the exposed edges of the leather and cut straps for the cross-body handle.
There will be a choice of black, tan or brown leather available and a selection of thread colours for the stitching.
Please note there is a £35 material charge payable to the tutor on the day, this includes all leather and hardware.
Included in the cost of your workshop is lunch, tea and coffee for the duration and afternoon cake on both of the days.
