Turtle Walk & Talk with Dr. Paul Gerard

A Father's Day tradition for 17 years!
Come dressed to walk with Dr. Gerard at the Haycraft parking trailhead- directly across from the Justice Center. Parking at that lot is limited, so we suggest parking behind the Justice Center.
We’ll have a talk and show-and-tell at the Haycraft Mill Park (meeting location) and then will hike out to Buffalo Lake to pull in traps. Total walking distance is approximately 1 mile (.50 out, .50 back).
We'll see Dr. Paul extract turtles from traps buried two days before in ponds. Can you identify all the turtles?
Rain or shine. All ages. No turtles are harmed in the process.
