Challenge your brain and give your hands a new set of skills by learning Tunisian Crochet. Allison will teach you the basics of Tunsian Crochet plus buttonholes while you create a beautiful cowl. You’ll learn foundation, simple stitch, edge stitch, buttonholes, and bind-off plus lots of tips for success and the history of Tunisian crochet. The cowl is fast to work up and makes a great gift, too!Pre-req/skills needed: basic beginner crochet; If you can make a chain stitch and a single crochet, you can learn Tunsian technique! This class is open to 12 and older with an adult.

Student materials/equipment:
• Approximately 170 yards worsted weight (#4 medium). This cowl looks great in solids, short or long color changes and textural yarns. For your first learning project I recommend a multi-color short change color way; avoid solid dark colors which make it hard to see your stitches while you learn.
• Six (6) 3⁄4” to 1” buttons (do not need to bring to class)
• Optional: Yarn needle for weaving in ends, one removable stitch marker
Teacher will provide: Tunisian crochet hook (for you to keep), yarn needles, scissors, stitch markers, pattern
