T.U. Jazz Fest 2026 Announces Masterclass with GRAMMY® & JUNO Award-Winning Artist Justin Gray at North York Central Library
TORONTO, ON – As part of the T.U. Jazz Fest 2026 Masterclass Series, the Toronto Public Library will host a free educational session featuring highly acclaimed bassist, composer, producer, and educator Justin Gray. The masterclass, titled "Building a Life in Music: Observations from the Studio, Stage, and Classroom," will take place on Saturday, September 5, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM in the Auditorium of the North York Central Library.
Drawing on his extensive career, Gray will share insights from his multifaceted roles in the music industry. The session will cover practical and artistic observations from his experiences navigating global traditional and contemporary music landscapes, making it an essential event for aspiring musicians, audio professionals, and music enthusiasts.
Justin Gray brings world-class expertise to the stage. He is a 2026 GRAMMY® Award winner for Best Immersive Audio Album for his work, Justin Gray's IMMERSED. He also served as the bassist, producer, and mastering engineer for Avataar’s Worldview, which secured the 2022 JUNO Award for Jazz Album of the Year: Group.
