An unhurried, one-of-a-kind experience.
Most perfumes today are made with synthetic, lab-created ingredients that each imitate a single note. This masterclass session is not that. You will craft your own perfume using only natural ingredients — real flowers, plants, and botanicals, nothing synthetic.
A single natural oil isn't one note at all; it's a whole spectrum of notes shifting and unfolding together, the way one rose absolute can smell like honey, spice, and green stem all at once. Few ever learn to notice this. You will.
At LUFEMMERA, we design every offering around a simple belief: scent should be real, rare, and unmistakably your own.
You will blend rare and beautiful materials like narcissus, pink lotus, and white tea, and explore challenging erotic oils like tobacco and amber — with unusual surprises mixed in that are rare not just to source, but nearly unheard of in modern perfumery at all. These are not ingredients you will find in most commercial perfumes; it is materially impossible to offer them in industrial perfumery at scale. This event also features some secret off-menu inclusions for those who like a hint of danger. LUFEMMERA curates their ingredient library for those who understand — for the discerning few who recognize details in what most never will.
The event unfolds in a private room inside an exclusive members' club, hidden from the everyday and reserved for those invited in — beautifully decorated, quiet, and designed for a slow, elegant afternoon. Elevated refreshments and canapes, exclusively reserved for private dining, are served by a Michelin restaurant.
Because the group is small, our expert perfumer and founder Adeline Coulter will offer you white-glove guidance the entire time — undivided, unhurried attention that most experiences simply cannot offer. You do not need any experience. You will build your fragrance step by step, at your own pace, with every question welcomed and every detail considered.
You will leave carrying your own bottle of perfume — one only you could have made — and an afternoon few will ever have the chance to know.
