Kom og tuft dit helt eget og unikke vægtæppe!
Tufting er et gammelt håndværk, som de fleste måske kender fra ryatæpper. Tufting foregår ved, at du først tegner dit motiv på udspændt hessian på en ramme. Dernæst tufter du motivet med garn og den hånddrevne danellanål, som laver løkker på den anden side af hessianet, som så bliver til dit vægtæppe. Det kræver ingen forudsætninger at tufte. Minimums alderen er dog 12 år.

Billetter kan ikke refunderes eller byttes til en anden dato, men hvis du bliver forhindret, er du velkommen til at give din plads til en anden.
MEDBRING
Du skal selv medbringe garn. Alle former for garn kan benyttes. Det er dog vigtigt, at garnet ikke er tykkere end pindstørrelse 4.
For at få mest ud af timerne, er det en god idé, hvis du forud for workshoppen har gjort dig nogle tanker om motivet. Det er en god ide, at vægtæppet har et enkelt motiv, hvor der ikke er for mange detaljer. Medbring evt. skitser eller udprint på 20/25cm X 20/25cm

Come and create your very own unique tufted wall hanging!
Tufting is a traditional craft. The process begins by drawing your design onto stretched hessian fabric mounted on a frame. You will then use yarn and a hand-operated danella needle to create loops on the reverse side of the fabric, gradually bringing your design to life as a textured wall hanging.
No prior experience is required, and beginners are very welcome. The minimum age for participation is 12 years.
About the Instructor
Instructor Cathrine Svarre is passionate about the creative process of tufting, and especially the sense of calm and immersion that the craft can provide. Cathrine runs the Instagram account @t_u_f_t_e_d_l_o_v_e, where you can find inspiration, tips, and examples of her work.

General Admission: 450 DKK
Students: 300 DKK
B5 Makers: 200 DKK
The price includes instruction, use of a danella needle and frame, as well as all other materials needed to create your wall hanging. Tea and coffee will also be available during the workshop.
Registration is binding. Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another date. If you are unable to attend, you are welcome to give your ticket to someone else.
What to Bring
Please bring your own yarn. Most types of yarn can be used, but it is important that the yarn is not thicker than a size 4 knitting needle recommendation.
To get the most out of the workshop, it is a good idea to spend some time beforehand thinking about your design. Simple motifs with limited detail tend to work best for this format.

A printed version of your design approximately 20–25 cm × 20–25 cm
