Tuesday Volunteering with Veggie Chop Shop

This is another opportunity to help with Veggie Chop Shop!

Our program used to run one day a week, but to be able to make fantastic-tasting vegtetarian meals in large quantities, we extended our program times.

On Tuesdays, we finish cooking and baking, make green salads, pack and organize the meals. Our meals go to over a dozen local agencies, ranging from childcare centers in low-income zip codes, rehabalitation centers, and shelters.

The volunteer shift is 10-NOON, but you are free to stay longer if you would like, there is just no lunch with this volunteer shift.

All ages are welcome. Some mobilty is required, as there is a staircase to the church cafeteria.

Please know it can be quite warm in the summer in fall, so dress comfortably, be okay with getting a little dirty, wear close-toed shoes, and bring a water bottle if possible!

The entrance is in the back of the church off of Clarke Street, just ring the buzzer!
