Join us for Tuesday Night Live at The Palms!Vocalist Angela Verbrugge brings her warm, captivating style to our brand new baby grand, joined by pianist Tony Genge. Angela has established herself as one of the West Coast's most compelling jazz vocalists, winning the 2020 JazzTimes Readers' Poll for Best Female Vocalist.
A native of Vancouver, Tony Genge is one of Canada's leading jazz pianists. His cool and swinging style references the great jazz piano tradition of Ahmad Jamal, Red Garland, and Wynton Kelly. Tony is also a respected composer and educator with a Ph.D. in composition.
