Join The Scout Guide Sarasota and Buzzed & Social for the 5th Annual Caftans & Cocktails—an unforgettable evening where island glamour, exceptional cuisine, handcrafted cocktails, and meaningful connection come together in true Scout Guide style.
For five years, Caftans & Cocktails has brought together local business owners, creatives, philanthropists, food lovers, and community builders for one of Sarasota's most anticipated social gatherings. It's an evening where extraordinary food, effortless style, and genuine hospitality remind us that some of life's best moments happen around a beautiful table.
The evening begins with a cocktail reception inside the hidden speakeasy at Mimi Brasserie & Speakeasy, where handcrafted cocktails, lively conversation, and a few delightful surprises set the tone for the evening ahead.
Then, we gather.
At the heart of the evening, a breathtaking 60-foot candlelit communal table transforms the dining room into an intimate celebration of food, friendship, and community. Colorful caftans mingle with breezy linens. Old friends reconnect. New friendships are made. Glasses are raised. Stories are shared.
This is the magic of Caftans & Cocktails.
Guests will enjoy an exclusive five-course collaborative dinner created especially for this evening by Chef Anthony Double of Mimi Brasserie & Speakeasy, Chef Alex Gosselin of Montreal's Chez Victoire, and Michelin-recognized Chef Mark Majorie of Lucky 8. Each course is thoughtfully paired with exceptional wines and craft cocktails, celebrating bold flavors, creative artistry, and the simple joy of gathering together.
Throughout the evening, guests will enjoy fresh AMI Coconuts, interactive moments with Luxe Frame Events, and a stunning tablescape designed by So Staged. The soundtrack for the evening will be curated by TSG Co-Owner and DJ David Warren Curran of Baysound Studios, creating an atmosphere that feels equal parts elegant dinner party, island escape, and unforgettable celebration.

Caftans & Cocktails is a celebration of color, confidence, and unapologetic resort glamour. Think flowing caftans, breezy linens, bold prints, statement jewelry, and vacation-worthy style. Gentlemen are encouraged to embrace relaxed tailoring, linen, tropical prints, and effortless sophistication.
Think Palm Beach meets the French Riviera—with a touch of Sarasota charm. Leave the little black dress at home.
Tickets are limited to just 70 guests and are expected to sell out.

Important Information
The featured nonprofit partners for The Scout Guide Sarasota Volume 12 will be announced during the Volume 12 Launch Celebration in April 2027.
Because this is a collaborative chef experience with a fixed tasting menu, dietary modifications cannot be accommodated. Guests with food allergies are encouraged to review the menu, which will be posted by September 25.
