Try Before You Buy | Beginner Sewing Experience
About this Event
You've been thinking about learning how to sew. Maybe you've watched a few videos, saved some projects, or already started looking at sewing machines online.
But before you spend hundreds of dollars on a new hobby, why not give it a try first?
That's exactly what Try Before You Buy is for.
Join Toni of Toni & Tucker Co. for a two-hour, hands-on beginner sewing experience where you can sit down at a sewing machine, learn how it works, and see whether sewing is something you actually enjoy.
No machine? No supplies? No experience?
Perfect. Everything you need is included.
What we'll cover
- Getting comfortable sitting down at and operating a sewing machine
- Understanding the basic parts, functions, and controls
- Learning how to guide fabric and practice basic stitches
- Discovering what sewing actually involves beyond watching videos
- Understanding which machine features and supplies matter for the projects you want to make
- Learning what to consider before purchasing your first sewing machine
What you'll walk away with
Real hands-on experience, a better understanding of how sewing machines work, and helpful resources to guide your next steps if you decide sewing is for you.
This isn't a sewing machine sales demonstration. We're not here to sell you equipment or convince you to buy a particular brand.
We're here to help you explore a new skill before making the investment.
