Join us for an engaging and respectful conversation on Truth and Reconciliation, featuring Indigenous perspectives across generations.

This event is an opportunity for newcomer youth to listen, learn, ask questions, and reflect on how we can build respectful relationships with Indigenous peoples and communities in Canada.

🌿 What Will We Explore?

During the event, we will explore:

❤️ Personal, professional, artistic, and community perspectives on what Truth and Reconciliation means.

❤️ How perspectives and experiences have changed across generations, and what still needs attention.

❤️ How newcomers can learn about the land they now live on and build respectful relationships with Indigenous peoples and communities.

🎨 What to Expect

• 🤝 Opportunities to reflect and connect with other newcomer youth
• 🔑 Create your own keychain to take home
• 🍽️ Lunch will be provided

👥 Who Can Participate?

This event is for newcomer youth ages 13–30 who are:

• Permanent Residents (PR)
• Convention Refugees / Protected Persons (CR)

Free for eligible PR/CR newcomers. IRCC funded.
