Trustee Recruitment Evening 2026 - for Potential Trustees

The London Borough of Richmond upon Thames has a vibrant voluntary sector with approximately 800 charities and not-for-profit organisations, and trustees play a crucial role in their success.

Trustees come from a wide range of backgrounds and it's essential for organisations to represent the communities they support.

If you'd like to find out what it means to be a trustee, please join us on Wednesday 14 October at Richmond and Hillcroft Adult Community College (RHACC).

5pm: The event opens and you'll be able to meet and chat with 30+ local organisations that are currently looking for new trustees.

5.15pm or 6.15pm: To help you consider whether a trustee role could be for you, you will also have the opportunity to join a talk to hear about what the role entails and gain some personal insights from a current trustee about their own experience.

Please note that the talks are now fully booked but a place will very likely become available on the evening so let us know on Registration when you arrive if you'd like to attend one and we'll do our best to fit you in.

8.00pm: The event closes.

If you'd prefer to just come along and meet the organisations, that's fine too and we'd be delighted to see you.

Click the 'Reserve a Spot' button to book your free place, complete your details and book a time slot for the talk if you would like to attend one.
