Thursday, February 6 or Saturday February 22, 11:00am to 12:30pm Trout in the Classroom Series
Join us for another year of Trout in the Classroom (TIC)! During this program you will observe Rainbow Trout eggs go through their life cycle and then be released in Kepner Creek. Also you will learn about water quality, fishing, and macroinvertebrates! You will have two chances per month starting December through May of 2025 to join us. The topic for each month will be different but will remain the same for both dates of the month. In this session we will be learning about trout species, their life cycle and continue with checking our tank's water quality.
This program will be held in our indoor space. Norristown Farm Park’s participation in the Trout in the Classroom program was made possible through a partnership between the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) and the Pennsylvania Council of Trout Unlimited (PATU).
