Tropic Bound Artists' Book Fair

Tropic Bound — South Florida’s first international biennial artists’ book fair — returns February 6-9 2025 at the Miami Design District in two of the district’s iconic rooftop destinations: Paradise and Palm Court Plaza Event Spaces.

Tropic Bound showcases the unique artistic genre known as “artists’ books.” These complex creations bridge the worlds of fine art craft and literature: telling stories sometimes without words and represent a broad variety of cultural traditions. As an artists’ book fair Tropic Bound highlights books and bookworks made or altered by hand and enables visitors to meet the artists and artisans behind these incredible and intricate pieces.

Over 90 exhibitors from around the world - organized into two sections the Main Fair and Addendum - will gather to present their latest creations and collections of artists' books. The fair also includes shuttle tours to Miami's book arts hot spots a symposium with keynote speaker Stephanie Stillo US Library of Congress' Chief of Rare Book and Special Collections a welcome party for visitors and exhibitors artist talks and more.
