Following last year’s acclaimed 50 Years of Hip-Hop celebration, which captivated audiences from 37 states and London, Nu Deco Ensemble is thrilled to continue exploring the rich legacy of Hip-Hop. This genre has profoundly influenced our culture, from fashion and language to music and connection. Join us at The Citadel for the second installment of our Nu Deco Lounge Series, featuring orchestral reimaginings of hip-hop icons including OutKast, Lauryn Hill, The Notorious B.I.G., Ice Cube, and Dr. Dre. Our Nu Deco Lounge concert series hosted at Audacy at The Citadel takes an alternative approach to our performances in a standing-room-only, intimate musical experience. Last season, we hosted over a dozen Lounge performances featuring reimaginations of Outkast, Timbaland, Daft Punk, and more.
