Please message me if you want a form review/training session before the event. I will keep my calendar clear for the day.The night's festivities should run as follows (see below for details):
7:00 Meet and greet, nerd out, show off, shenanigans...
7:30 - We will take a vote on proposed ideas brought before the high council. If you have any good ideas, bring them forth!
8:15 - Trial of Spirit: Issue personal challenges to your fellow members for points
9:00 - Trial of Skill: If you've been working on mastering a saber form, this will be your chance to demonstrate it and earn your achievements.
Trial of Insight
Share your thoughts and ideas to improve the group. The High Council will hash out how we can best implement them and then put to a group vote at the next trials night as to whether or not to adopt it into the official rules set.
If adopted, you get the Trial of Insight achievement.
Trial of Skill
This is for those of you who feel they have a grasp on a lightsaber form, or a better one than they had the last time they took this trial, we'll put you through the ringer.
You can earn up to three achievements for each form based on how those present perceive your level of proficiency.
Trial of Spirit
Challenge someone present (ideally someone of a different faction). Each match will be a one-on-one duel wagering 100 of the points you have on the leaderboard. If you win, you claim those 100 points for yourself and your team. You can only fight the same person once.
Remember, having 1k or 3k points on the leaderboard grants you a Trial of Spirit achievement.
