Friends of Boxerwood, help us plant 17 trees and shrubs purchased through a grant from the Virginia Department of Forestry to enhance forested buffers around creeks and ponds. Learn about the benefits of trees for protecting the watershed of Wood's Creek, that flows in to the Maury River and on to the James River to the ocean. We in the headwaters affect water quality all the way downstream.All are welcome to come and plant. Families or individuals.
