Welcome to the Tree City USA Recognition event! Join us as we celebrate our community's commitment to nurturing and preserving urban forests. This in-person event is a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow nature lovers and learn about sustainable practices to keep our cities green and vibrant.

Thursday, we will tour the University of Kansas's famous Jayhawk Boulevard and discuss the challenges of managing trees on a college campus. Friday, our event will be at the beautiful Baker Wetlands Discovery Center. During breaks, you can explore the wetlands and learn more about these vital ecosystems.

We will meet in front of the museum but encourage all participants to visit the museum after the tour.
