Join Jennie Ferrare (Arcana Owner, E-RYT 500, MSW student) , Anne Esguerra (C-IAYT) and guests for a weekend long deep dive into yoga, embodiment, somatics, ethics, teaching techniques and the neurobiology of trauma in the body. This training will be geared towards 200 and 500 hour yoga instructors looking to integrate trauma informed principles into their teaching, as well as social workers and counselors with deep yoga knowledge looking for more information on trauma and embodiment. Training runs Friday evening, all day Saturday and Sunday and includes time for trauma-informed yoga and embodiment practices, lecture, discussion, practicum and ample break time.
This course will take place at Arcana, 81 Market street in Portland, Maine.
TIME COMMITMENT: MARCH 14th-16th
FRIDAY: 5:30pm- 8:30pm
SATURDAY & SUNDAY: 9am-6pm
