About this Event
This in person workshop will be followed by an online follow up session designed to support implementation into your framework. Details below.
Your ticket unlocks access to both sessions.
This workshop provides a practical and accessible introduction to trauma-informed practice, grounded in contemporary theory and real-world application. Participants will develop a deeper understanding of what trauma is, how it impacts the brain and body, and how trauma responses can shape behaviour across the lifespan.
With a strong focus on nervous system functioning, empathy, and relational practice, this workshop moves beyond theory to build core skills for working effectively with individuals who have experienced trauma. It also explores the often-overlooked impacts of trauma exposure on helping professionals, supporting sustainable and reflective practice.
Designed for frontline workers across health, social services, and community settings, this workshop equips participants with the knowledge and tools to respond to distress in ways that promote safety, trust, and connection.
