Curious about film photography but not sure where to start? Whether you've just picked up your first film camera or want to better understand how film really works, this workshop is designed to give you a solid foundation.

Join us for a half-day introduction to film photography, hosted by Among Creatives and held at GR Space, with support from Your Local Film Lab and ILFORD.

The day is split into two parts. First, Linus from Your Local Film Lab will take you through the science and chemistry behind film photography, helping you understand what happens from the moment you press the shutter through to development and scanning. Then, Jason will guide you through the practical side of shooting film, covering camera handling, exposure, metering, and techniques before everyone heads out together for a relaxed neighborhood photo walk to put everything into practice.

Event concludes by 4:00PM
Whether you're completely new to film or looking to build confidence before shooting more regularly, this workshop is a great opportunity to learn from experienced photographers, ask questions, meet fellow creatives, and spend the afternoon making photographs together.
