About this Event
Trans* Thriving and Trade present... Leicester's first Trans Health Fair!
Come along and access support, advice, and testing from a range of local services including:

We know how hard it can be to access support services for our health and wellbeing as trans* people, and so we are offering a day where you can engage with a range of providers all in one place, organised by trans* people for trans* people. Whereever possible we will also be offering testing and screening on site including sexual health screening, blood pressure checks, and liver scans (for those eligible). Feel free to drop by at any point during the day and get the support you need and deserve.
Additionally, Dr Christine Mimnagh from the British Association of Gender Identity Specialist (Home - BAGIS) will be delivering a talk and Q&A. This event is FREE and people are welcome to drop in throughout the day but please book tickets in advance to secure a place for the talk and Q&A.

The Trans* Thriving project is a three year project at Trade which aims to support the health and wellbeing of local trans* people. By ‘trans*’ we think expansively about a spectrum of gender diverse identities, primarily transgender, non-binary, and gender non-conforming people. During community listening local trans* people have communicated that social isolation is high and finding support for trans* health and happiness is increasingly hard. We have heard this feedback and in response are running this event.
When booking you will be asked a series of monitoring questions: These are optional and you do not need to fill them in to book. Providing the information supports our work at Trade and through Trans Thriving and helps us understand the communities we serve.
