About this Event
Enjoy TLC's January Life Drawing Event? Kicking yourself that you missed out? Don't miss the epic redux, with yet more awesome trans+ models, free drawing materials (though you're welcome to bring your own), and a hot playlist to get your brain in gear to capture their magnificence. We'll even have a chill zone for chatting and vibing. Come, and see what Spring wonders await.
Are you trans? Do you want to model!? Fill in our application form here! (Fat/disabled models and models of colour prioritised)
ACCESSIBILITY
Covid safety
Please don't attend if you feel ill in ways that are unusual for you - even if it's "just a cold", or mild symptoms. We'll run this again, no need for FOMO!
We strongly encourage you to wear a FFP2/FFP3/N95/KN95 mask - we'll provide these if you don't have your own.
We will have several air purifiers running in the room.
Physical accessibility
There is a wheelchair-accessible entrance at the back of the building on Fisher Street. We will provide a contact number to call for entry through this door via email to people who have booked tickets through Eventbrite shortly before the event.
The hall (where the event will take place) and lounge bar are wheelchair-accessible. There is a wheelchair-accessible toilet on the ground floor.
There will be seating for everyone.
Toilets
There is a gender-neutral wheelchair-accessible toilet on the ground floor. There are gendered toilets on the ground and first floors; we are asking about marking them as gender-neutral for the event and will update.
Visibility and sensory access
The hall will be well-lit, though not overly bright. There will be music playing - this will be variable in volume but not loud enough to obstruct conversation. We will provide ear plugs if you'd like to wear them. Feel free to bring headphones if you'd prefer your own music or none.
Quiet space
You can leave the hall to go to the lounge bar in the building, or head outside, at any time. Please note you will be asked to wait until the end of the pose to re-enter the room if you leave.
Food and drink; alcohol
Water will be available at the venue. You will be able to get soft drinks and snacks at the bar; alcohol will not be served. Only food and drinks purchased at the NCI Centre can be eaten/drunk inside the venue, so you may want to eat dinner beforehand.
TRANSPORT
If you need assistance with funds for travel, or help planning your route, please get in touch via [email protected] or our socials - we may be able to help.
