Fundraising Messages That Make Sense – Communicating Need and Impact Clearly

Many voluntary and community organisations do incredible work, but sometimes struggle to explain it clearly when asking for support or funding.

This practical workshop will help VCSE organisations strengthen their fundraising messages by learning how to clearly explain the need for their work, communicate the difference they make, and write in a way that is simple, engaging and easy to understand.

The session will cover:
• Explaining community need clearly
• Communicating impact without jargon
• Writing stronger messages for community fundraising and small grants
• Turning everyday work into clear, compelling fundraising language

Participants will take part in practical exercises and leave with simple tools they can immediately apply to funding bids, fundraising appeals and communications.

Please note that while the majority of our courses are free for members of the VCSE sector to attend, a £50 cancellation fee will be charged if fail to attend without prior notice or £20 if you cancel your place at short notice.
