Due to forecasted snow and cold temperatures Friday and Saturday, we are moving this to Saturday the 15th after the St Patrick's day parade. Please meet at the animal shelter at noon!

Join Trinidad Trails Alliance to help construct a short dog walking trail at the Trinidad Animal Shelter!
This loop will provide dog walkers with a safe and convenient place to walk shelter animals. Thanks to the City and shelter staff for supporting this idea!
Bring your own work gloves and water. TTA will supply tools, light snacks, and post-work beverages.
The objectives for our 3 hour work session will include:
- clearing rock debris and taking down the wire barrier at the trail entrance
- trimming the Siberian elm at the entrance area and removing weeds
- clearing the trail corridor and covering with road base (to be provided by the City)
- trimming the juniper tree and leveling an area beneath it for a seating area
- general trash pick up along the way
Down the line we look forward to installing a bench in the seating area and also doing something creative with the commemorative bricks (created as a fundraiser for the old Noah's Ark) currently in storage at the TAS.
