About this Event

Join an educator on this family-friendly hike to search for the signs animals leave behind! learn how to identify tracks, and other animal clues while exploring Hempstead Lake!

Please dress accordingly for the weather, wear proper foot attire for hiking, bring a water bottle and a small snack if you like. Please be prepared to walk at least 2.5 miles.

We will meet at the Environmental Education and Resiliency Center in Field 1 of Hempstead Lake State Park. $4 per person upon arrival at the front desk. No parking fees in effect. Reservations are required for all programs, each person needs their own ticket. Space is limited. If you are unable to keep your reservation, please cancel so others may have the opportunity to attend. Please try to arrive at least 15 minutes early.
