Experience the beauty of Avalon Marshes first-hand by joining a Walk and Draw event hosted by ARTWORK TOGETHER, a collaborative group of three artists: textile artist Sian Martin, photographer and printmaker Lesley Roberts, and painter Pauline Lerry.
Participants will explore the marshes alongside the artists, drawing inspiration from the landscapes that have shaped their work. This immersive experience offers a unique opportunity to connect with nature and enhance your artistic skills. No experience needed!

About ARTWORK TOGETHER
This event is organised by ARTWORK TOGETHER, a collaborative group of three artists. They have worked together on various exhibitions, showcasing their individual talents while also blending their creative processes in response to shared themes and environments. Their collaboration is deeply rooted in a shared passion for exploring and interpreting natural landscapes, particularly the rich and evocative environments of Somerset and the surrounding areas. By regularly visiting sites like Avalon Marshes, they draw inspiration from the changing seasons, the interplay of light and texture, and the historical significance of these landscapes.
Traces of Time Exhibition
This event supports the Artwork Together exhibition ‘Traces of Time’, a captivating exploration of the Avalon Marshes’ natural beauty through the eyes of three talented artists. Textile artist Sian Martin, photographer and printmaker Lesley Roberts, and painter Pauline Lerry have spent the past few years observing and capturing the seasonal changes and serene landscapes of the marshes. Their works, inspired by misty wetlands, ancient trackways, and lush vegetation, will be on display at the Long Gallery in Black Swan Arts, Frome.
