Along the way, guests will experience a dynamic blend of visual art, live music, poetry, storytelling, engaging conversation, and thoughtfully selected wine tastings.
RHYTHM — Jason Phillips Studio, featuring Allen Dennard, acclaimed Detroit-born trumpeter, composer, recording artist, bandleader, and recipient of the Preservation of Jazz Excellence Award.
VOICE — Irwin House Gallery, featuring Jessica Care Moore, internationally celebrated poet, performance artist, author, and Detroit’s Poet Laureate.
STORY — The Hendrie, featuring Rochelle Wilson-Ellis, U.S. Navy veteran, compelling storyteller, and alumna of The Secret Society of Twisted Storytellers.
LEGACY — N’Namdi Center for Contemporary Art, featuring Dr. George N’Namdi, visionary gallerist, educator, art collector, and pioneering champion of African American and contemporary art.
The journey culminates at the N’Namdi Center with the Legacy Experience and Closing Reception featuring an intimate conversation with Dr. N'Namdi's remarkable journey. Highlighting his influence on the contemporary art world, and the cultural legacy he has built over than four decades.

Parking & Bus Boarding Information
Parking Location: Sugar Hill Garage, 119 Garfield Street, Detroit, MI 48201
The garage entrance is accessed from the alley off John R Street, between Garfield and Forest. The parking rate is currently $12.
From the garage, walk through the courtyard and past Seva Detroit to reach the N’Namdi Center. There are no streets to cross.
Bus Boarding Location: N’Namdi Center for Contemporary Art, 52 E. Forest Avenue, Detroit, MI 48201
The ArtEx bus will load on Forest Avenue in front of the church directly next to the N’Namdi Center. Please arrive early enough to park, walk to the boarding area and check in before the scheduled departure.
