free awareness fundraiser for the local game store in Manchester VT called Green Dragon Games! Come check out food trucks, local vendors, and most of all... full steel combat between armored warriors! We will also be spending some time educating those who are interested in the ways of our armor, weapons, history of the sport, and the knowledge of smithing these weapons!
You will witness Vermont Armored Combat host a tournament that has been nicknamed the "Nerd" Tournament due to us battling over a large Warhammer 40k miniature army, along with other prizes donated by the magnanimous Green Dragon Games.
Fighters, please reach out to Vermont Armored Combat or Sean Rohberon to sign up for the tournament, all genders welcome at our events. If we get enough fighters, we will actually break the tournament up by size categories to create a more fair system.
Over the course of the first 2 hours, each fighter will be expected to participate in at least 2 fights. Around 3, the tournament will begin.
fights will be a 30 second round, and you will fight each other fighter at the tournament(or in your size bracket if enough people show) twice. Each round you win earns you a point. At the end of the tournament, the fighter with the most points wins. If two people are tied, we will have a final 30 second round to determine the winner.
fighters and patrons, bring chairs for yourself, bring water to stay hydrated. for fighters, bring tents to stay cool.
Vermont Armored Combat stands with all races, religions, countries of origin, sexual orientations, genders, ethnicities, and abilities. We welcome members who hold beliefs and behaviors that center around safety and celebration for folks historically marginalized. If your ideologies oppose these concepts, we are not the place for you.
