Touch Grass Day-Tripper: Bath Skyline Stroll (November 8th)

Explore, create, and connect in nature's boundless playground. Our curated day events are designed to immerse you in the beauty of nature while igniting your creative spark.

Join us on an adventurous walk up over the Cotswold hills, with superb views of historic Bath below us all the way! Starting and ending at Bath Spa station, we’ll hike a diverse trail through vibrant woods and fields, past looming castles and down elegant Georgian streets, with a break for lunch along the way.

What to expect:

🌱 Rolling hills and historic architecture at the edge of the Cotswolds AONB

🌱 Woods and meadows alive with wildlife from autumn mushrooms to Muntjacs

🌱 Views of Bath’s unique skyline, whose honey-coloured stone buildings seem to glow in sunlight

The walk will be led by Andred with support from Toni. Toni is a Mountain Training qualified Lowland Leader and is outdoor first aid trained.

Location: Bath

Date: Saturday 8th November 2025

Meeting time: 10:30am (meeting point is Bath Spa station)

*Londoners: meet at London Paddington for 8:45am for the 9:00am train - we'll save 1/3 off as a group

Start time: 11am (approx.)

Distance: 9.6km

We will be taking it at a leisurely pace, with a break for lunch.

Difficulty: The walk itself is a moderately difficult walk with some steep sections and some rocky paths.

Age: 18+

Who is this for? This is an exclusive event for queer women, trans and non-binary people of colour. Refunds will not be given if you ignore this message.

Touch Grass is an outdoor community for queer women, trans and non-binary people of colour.

We are committed to fostering community growth through outdoor gatherings and wellness-focused trips that encourage us to rekindle our relationship with nature. Our immersive experiences go beyond relaxation—it's about empowerment, wellness, and forging meaningful connections.

Our vision is for queer people of colour to see the outdoors as a space where we belong. A Natural England study found that White people are 70% more likely than Black and Asian people to spend time in the countryside. We want to change this. We deserve to reap the benefits of improved emotional well-being and physical health too.
