About this Event

August is a very powerful month for transformation. Starting with the Lion's Gate portal on 8/8. Every year, the sun, Earth, and Sirius align with Orion's Belt, creating a window of energy ancient cultures have worked with for thousands of years. This Leo new moon arrives alongside a total solar eclipse — the universe asking you to release what's been holding you back and step into your own power. Not external power. The kind that lives in your chest and doesn't need an audience. Return to Center is a space to set that intention and amplify it together - through restorative yoga, breath, and sound.

The flow of the evening:

• Gently restorative yoga + hands-on Reiki Healing— John will guide you through gentle poses to open the body and prepare it for breathwork while Vanessa goes around the room igniting your body's own healing system through Reiki.
• Journaling — putting words to what's surfacing
• Conscious, connected breathwork — active breath to move and release what journaling brought up
• Sound bath — closing the circle with sound to settle the nervous system

Vanessa is an Energy Healer and Spiritual Life Coach who helps women come home to themselves through breathwork, energy healing, and transformational coaching. She holds certifications in breathwork, NLP, hypnosis, EFT, kundalini activation, and sound healing, with nearly a decade of work in Reiki energy healing, and is three years into her training as a shamanic practitioner. Her approach works at the level of the body, the breath, and the soul, not just the mind.

John teaches yoga and breathwork in Los Angeles and works with people through coaching built around a simple premise: you're not broken, and you're not too much — the different parts of you were never meant to compete, only to move together. Before this work, he spent years in kitchens, bars, and nightclubs, running a catering company and building a brewery. He lives in a canyon with his wife, three kids, and one very patient dog.
