About this Event

DO WHAT THOU WILT SHALL BE THE WHOLE OF THE LAW!

Toronto Thelema Field Trip: ROM Exhibition Visit
Saints, Sinners, Lovers, and Fools

Join Toronto Thelema for a field trip to the Royal Ontario Museum to explore — an exhibition rich in allegory, devotion, folly, and transformation.

This visit is Thelemic fieldwork: observing symbols in art and reflecting on their resonance with Thelemic philosophy and Tarot archetypes, particularly those found in the Thoth Tarot and the artwork of Lady Frieda Harris.

This exhibition closes later this month — a final chance to experience it together.

As part of Adventures in the Occult: Field Trip Series, this visit approaches tarotology, mysticism, symbolism, morality and praxis through a Thelemic lens, placing the Golden Age Finnish artwork into dialogue with the initiatory and magical framework of the Master Therion (Aleister Crowley). We aim to discuss differing approaches to Will, devotion, discipline, and liberation within the fields of art, science, and contemporary esoteric religion. Our trips are designed to encourage field investigations and deepen socio-cultural comprehension towards Scientific Illuminism.
