About this Event

Keimara: A Solo Exhibition
Opening Reception: Thursday, January 8, 6:00 – 8:30 PM

Step into Keimara’s colourful world! Celebrate their first solo exhibition, meet the artist, and explore bright, bold originals from 2022–2026. The show brings together playful mixed media pieces inspired by love, spirituality, and inner worlds.

is a Chilean-born, Toronto-based queer visual artist who loves to experiment across a wide range of mediums — from large-scale murals to comics, painting, and more. As a self-taught artist, they play with vibrant colours to explore feeling, intuition, and expression.

The exhibition runs through January 31. All originals are available for purchase, as well as Keimara’s smaller works — prints, stickers, and other creations — can be found at Loohoo's Artist of the Month Shrine. Drop in 11AM–6PM Wednesday–Sunday at 1380 Queen St W to see and shop their work in person.

🖌 Exhibition Programming: Art & Essence Workshop

As part of the exhibition, join Keimara on Saturday, January 17, 6:30–8:30 PM for a hands-on, liberating workshop. Create a split self-portrait — abstract or figurative — exploring how you see yourself and how you feel seen by others through colour, shape, and mixed media on canvas. All materials are provided, and no experience is needed. Limited spots available — grab your ticket early to save your place!
