Torch-Blown Glass
What to Expect Begin with a live demo, where we’ll show you how to melt and shape molten glass into beautiful creations. Then, take the torch and craft your own one-of-a-kind plant watering globes or ornaments.
Materials Included
3 glass tubes to practice and perfect your designs (don’t worry, surprises and funky shapes are part of the fun!)
A colorful array of glass frit to customize your creations
While most participants will create up to 3 projects, the number may vary.
Quick Turnaround for Watering Globes!
If you choose to make watering globes, they will be ready for pickup the next business day at 2 PM! Just let us know in class that you would like to pick up the next day.
Ornaments require additional finishing and can be picked up the following Friday.
Snacks & Drinks
Bring your favorite snacks and non-alcoholic beverages for a cozy experience.
Additional Info: Due to the nature of blown glass it will be warm in the classroom.
Safety First
Closed-toe shoes required
Hair must be tied back and sleeves that can be rolled up
Steady hands required.
No neuropathy, tremors, or conditions affecting grip, coordination or ability to feel heat. No refunds if not able to hold tube safely we will give you 3 ornaments we will blow them for you.
Must wear safety glasses (provided).
Able to stand safely at torch.

Because we’re working with heat and tools, you’ll need to be able to clearly see what you’re doing during the class—glasses and contacts are totally fine!
No loose clothing.
Torches will be shared between two people, so bring your camera to capture the moment!
