Join Israeli-American artist Yael Kanerek, founder of BeitToratah.org, for an engaging conversation and text study from the creation stories as she introduces Toratah, the regendered Hebrew Bible. Yael Kanerek is an Israeli-American artist and founder of BeitToratah.org, where she reimagines the Biblical narrative through a matriarchal lens, focusing on centering women in sacred texts to expand the Jewish bookshelf. Her multidisciplinary work spans language, memory, and cultural identity, with international exhibitions across various media. Kanarek is also the co-author, along with Tamar Biala, of the forthcoming book Toratah: The Regendered Bible, to be published by Ayin Press in 2025.
