ABOUT MAYA

Maya LaLiberté, as a professional movement artist, in 2024 has been touring internationally in sold-out performances of Faye Driscoll’s work, Weathering, and locally in New York City in Oceanic Feeling, Driscoll’s summer site work as part of the Beach Sessions performance series at Rockaway Beach--now in its 10th year. LaLiberté, has also recently produced Spring Ephemerals, a suite of new dances in collaboration with musicians, and her own site-specific films, as well as teaching Countertechnique® classes in the US and abroad.
