Tompkins Square Park Compost Giveaway!

This fall we're celebrating Tompkins Square Park by giving away free compost! Join the LES Ecology Center in bagging your own finished compost and learn how we use it to steward the park! We'll provide the compost, shovels, and wheelbarrows—just bring your own containers or a cart to take home as much as you’d like.

Enter the park through the East 7th Street entrance between Avenues A and B and look for signs to find the compost pile. Please note no vechicle access allowed inside the park.

Registration reccomended. The event will run till 1pm or when the compost pile is gone!
