Join Tomorrow Bookstore for our second annual spooky literary evening: our Women in Horror event featuring best-selling authors Kylie Lee Baker, Rachel Harrison and Nadia Davids. Food will be available to purchase from local vendor Smoking Goose. NEW VENUE: The event will be hosted at Indiana Landmarks.
THE AGENDA
Spooky Book Fair (6:30-7:30PM): All three authors will have dedicated tables to meet them, grab a copy of their books, and get books signed. This is a great chance to meet the authors and get updated Women in Horror merch!
Headline Horror Conversation (7:30-9PM): An author reading and talk featuring authors Kylie Lee Baker (Bat Eater and Japanese Gothic), Rachel Harrison (Kiss Slay Replay and Play Nice ), and Nadia Davids (Cape Fever) followed by audience Q&A.

ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Kylie Lee Baker is the author of young adult and adult novels. Her writing is informed by her heritage (Japanese, Chinese, and Irish) and her experiences living abroad. She has a B.A. in Creative Writing and Spanish and an M.S. in Library and Information Science. Kylie’s adult debut Bat Eater and Other Names for Cora Zeng was an Indie Next and Library Reads pick, a New York Times Notable Book, and a best of the year pick from USA Today, Library Journal and others. Rachel Harrison is the New York Times bestselling author of Play Nice, So Thirsty, Black Sheep, Such Sharp Teeth, Cackle, and The Return, which was nominated for a Bram Stoker Award for Superior Achievement in a First Novel. Her short fiction has appeared in numerous anthologies and in her debut collection, Bad Dolls. She lives in New Jersey with her husband and their cat/overlord.
Nadia Davids is a South African playwright, author and scholar. Her plays have been staged throughout South Africa and in Europe and her writing has appeared in Los Angeles Review of Books, LitHub, The American Scholar, Astra Magazine, The Georgia Review, and Zyzzyva Magazine. Her academic work explores archives of resistance, performance, memory, time and creativity under Apartheid and colonialism. Nadia has held residencies at Art Omi, Hedgebrook, and was a 2023 Aspen Writer in Residency. The 2024 winner of the Caine Prize for her short story ‘Bridling’, her latest novel, Cape Fever (2025) was a 2025 New York Times Editor’s Choice and one of Publishers Weekly Best Books of 2025.

Info: An author talk featuring author Kylie Lee Baker (Bat Eater and Japanese Gothic), author Rachel Harrison (Play Nice and So Thirsty), and author Nadia Davids (Cape Fever). Each author will do a reading from each of their books, followed by a moderated conversation with Tomorrow's bookseller Grace Hicks. After the moderated conversation, audience members will have the chance to ask their favorite author a question!
