About this Event

Optum’s Together We Grow program offers free, expert-led classes that support parents from pregnancy through early childhood.

The pediatric CPR class provides hands-on training in pediatric first aid and CPR AED for infants and children. Participants will learn how to recognize and respond to emergencies, practice techniques such as chest compressions, rescue breathing, choking relief, and AED use, and build confidence in responding when it matters most.

The class also covers key safety topics, including first aid fundamentals and drowning response, and is guided by the latest American Heart Association (AHA) recommendations. Participants will receive a CPR certification valid for two years.
