Together Through Sound is a free, family friendly, day-long arts festival that will take place on September 8th, 2024, at Riverview Park in Des Moines. The festival aims to celebrate diversity and unity through music, showcasing performances from various cultures throughout the day. Our goal is to create an inclusive space where people can experience new musical genres and foster authentic connections between communities.The schedule will be:

5:30 Blake Shaw Big(ish) Band
6:30 Entre & Friends
7:00 Culmination Concert, directed by Joshua Barlage, with headliner Blake Shaw, featuring a full symphony orchestra
Many visual artists will have tents around the park to showcase their work.
The Pied Piper Kids Zone will return by popular demand with the DIY Instrument Bar, an Instrument Petting Zoo, and more.
We will also have food trucks and beer/wine for sale.
