Thanks to the Foundation for Educational Excellence UK (FEEUK) initiative funded through the National Lottery Community Funding, we are delighted to deliver this session as part of Green Wycombe. Today is the official launch and we hope to see you there!

Transport & Address:

We will meet on site at 10am at Hilltop Community Centre. Meet us on site at 10am. There is a car park on site. The address is Crest Road, High Wycombe, HP11 1UA.

Please can we ask everyone to arrive on time to ensure you do not miss the health & safety and task briefing. If you are late and the session has already started, you may not be able to join. Thank you.

The Task:

We will be celebrating the official launch of the Green Wycombe Initative and hope to see you there. Our task today will be creating a haven for wildlife in the Hilltop Garden.

We will be planting beds, hanging baskets and wildflowers all to encourage pollinators to the site and create a splash of colour.

We will be building and installing bird boxes and much more.

There will be lots of tasks for all ages and abilities so do pop along and say hello and see what we are up to!

What to bring:

Please bring your gloves (we will have spares) and dress for the weather and the task.

Long trousers are advisable as there may be ticks and thorny vegetation.

Wear layers that you can remove if you get hot whilst working. Bring a waterproof as most of our sites have no shelter from the rain. If it's sunny bring a hat and suncream.

Please bring plenty of fluids. We will bring a tea kit and biscuits.

Please note:

Biscuits are served at all Chiltern Rangers sessions. Please advise if you have an allergy.

Sometimes there is a need for us to use power tools that can be noisy.
