To Reconcile, A Choral Concert by District Chorale

We present two works that confront loss: Andrew Smith's Requiem with improvised sax, and Doppelbauer’s Kleine Messe for unaccompanied voices
About this Event

District Chorale presents two sacred works that confront loss. In Andrew Smith’s Requiem, hope rises from the tragedy of Norway's "9/11" with choir, organ, and improvised sax. Josef Friedrich Doppelbauer’s Kleine Messe carries the weight of serving on the "wrong" side of WW2. We invite listeners to reflect and renew in a space that supports glorious a cappella singing. Stay for a wine and cheese reception.
