New Theme Alert! Eight all-new Flashbands will be bringing the heat with covers from the ultimate rock nostalgia playlist! From Jimi to Ozzy, Tenacious D to Metallica, Blondie to Blink 182, Guns n’ Roses to RHCP, and so many more – we’re reliving the glory days of those basement house parties that gave us all our first taste of stardom. So get ready to channel the greats for a night full of smooth licks and facemelting riffs, going down 10/17 at Black Cat. Sign up for the lottery Weds 9/2 between 12-2pm for your chance to play!

How sign-up works: Register for a spot in the lottery

1. Click "Reserve a spot" above to register: You'll have 10 minutes to complete your purchase before the window times out. You may only purchase 1 lottery spot per instrument part. More instructions in the link.
2. Once you've completed your purchase, you'll receive an automated email from Eventbrite verifying your lottery spot (this does not confirm your participation, just lottery spot).
3. After the lottery is closed, you'll get a follow-up email from the Flashband Director via Eventbrite with more details on what to expect.
4. In a few days, you'll receive an email with your lottery status and next steps:

>> Participants (performers) will get a Welcome and Jam Prep email. This tells you all you need to know about the Sunday Meet & Greet Jam and how to prepare. You'll have 48 hours to notify the Director if you can no longer participate.

>> Waitlisters will get a Waitlist email. Waitlisters will be contacted by the Director if a slot becomes available, and will be refunded after the showcase if they do not come off the waitlist. Waitlisters do not attend the jam. More details in FAQs at www.flashbanddc.com.
