'To be a River' :: Indigo Workshop

'To be a River' is an exhibition that explores transormation, natures cycles and personal growth through artmaking. The alchemy process of indigo dying is not only beautiful but provides poignant metaphors in understanding change and empowerment to dance gracefully through lifes thresholds and cycles. We will create a sky shawl or a doorway curtian reminicent of waterways and skyscapes. Cotton fabric will be provided, with enough indigo dye for each partipant to bring another natural fabric peice, such as a pillow case or tshirt to also be indigo-ed.
