Incomplete recovery from grief can have a lifelong negative effect on the capacity for happiness. Based on a proven program, The Grief Recovery Handbook offers grievers the specific actions needed to move beyond loss.

Many people unknowingly suffer from a broken heart. Perhaps it was a death, divorce, or the end of a romantic relationship that caused it. Or it could have been caused by any of the forty other losses that a person might experience such as moving, pet loss, or a change in finances.

Regardless of the cause, we will provide a safe environment where our members will be given specific tools to help them recover from loss and ultimately lead a happier life.

Our Grief Support Groups provide a safe environment for our members to look at their old beliefs about dealing with loss, which losses have affected their life, and take actions that will lead them to complete unresolved emotions that may still be causing them pain.

It’s an action-based group that involves reading and writing assignments outlined in The Grief Recovery Handbook – 20th Anniversary Expanded Edition. Each Grief Support Group is facilitated by one of our Certified Grief Recovery Specialists. Specialists come from all walks of life and professional backgrounds, but have one thing in common: a desire to help people.
