Got a stack of books gathering dust on your shelves? Let’s swap them!
We’re hosting a community book swap at the Titirangi Community House (500 South Titirangi Road) on Saturday, 15th August. It’s a simple, zero-waste way to refresh your reading list for free, save great stories from the landfill, and catch up with your local neighbours over a coffee.
How it works:
Bring up to 10 books you’re ready to part with (just make sure they’re in a condition you’d happily give to a friend). You'll hand them over to get an entry ticket, and then use that ticket to take home up to 10 "new-to-you" books!
On the day:
10:00AM – 11:00AM | Morning Drop-Off: Swing by the house to drop off your books and grab your entry ticket.
11:30AM – 12:30PM | Doors close briefly while our team sorts everything into genres. This is your cue to head into the village for a snack or a hot drink!
12:30PM – 2:30PM | Bring your ticket back, head inside, and find your next favourite reads.
(Can’t make it on Saturday morning? You can also drop your books off early at the Community House office Monday to Friday, 9:00AM – 2:00PM, from now until Thursday, 13th!)
