🎨 An evening of painting, music, drinks, food, and plenty of laughs.
On Thursday, August 27, Tipsy Paint is taking over Mimi’s Pub for its first event—featuring “Mama,” an African sunset scene created by Bobbi Scheelar.
Throughout the evening, Bobbi will guide you step by step as you create the golden sky, silhouetted trees, peaceful watering hole, and the mother elephant walking alongside her calf.
Never painted before? Perfect.
With an art degree, 40 years of artistic experience, and more than 10 years of teaching, Bobbi knows how to help complete beginners create something they’re genuinely proud to carry home—without turning the evening into a stiff, serious art class.
She’ll demonstrate each stage of the painting, offer hands-on help when you need it, and give you the freedom to add your own personality along the way. Your version does not need to look exactly like anyone else’s. That is part of the experience.
Everything you need is included:
- A 16 × 20 canvas
- Paints, brushes, easel, and supplies
- Step-by-step instruction from an experienced artist
- Hands-on guidance throughout the evening
- Your completed painting to take home
Mimi’s full food and drink menu will be available throughout the event, so grab a drink, order something to eat, enjoy the music, and see what you can create.
Special ticket packages are also available for two or four guests and include a bottle of red or white wine.
Bring your friends, your partner, your coworkers, or anyone who could use a fun night out.
You may arrive convinced that you cannot paint.
