Tipsy History: The Roaring Twenties
There will be vintage cars, 1920s music, temperance marchers, bootleggers and distilling practices, gangsters, G-men, bank heists, and more! That's right, Midway Village Bank will be held up by those outlaws!
Many of our members and visitors to this popular, annual Living History event also get in on the fun by dressing in their own 1920s garb. Period clothing is optional, but always welcome!

Your Tipsy History admission ticket also is your pass to the Museum Center for the day, so you and your guests may learn even more about living in Rockford in the early 20th century - from the main street stores at which people shopped to a glimpse inside a typical home. Plus, see galleries dedicated to the agricultural milestones and manufacturing processes that helped fuel later American prosperity.
Tour exhibits including "Queen City of the Prairies," "The Girls of Summer," "Many Faces, One Community" and "Camp Grant."
No trip would be complete with stopping in the Gift Shop. There you will find delightful items including Sock Monkeys, Rockford Peaches and Camp Grant merchandise, clothing, bobble head dolls and so much more.
