July In the Outdoors: Atwood Abuzz

Be “In the Outdoors” all season long, rain or shine, you can’t go wrong! It’s great for all ages, through all of life’s stages. Bring your scout group, or your whole family. Experience all that Atwood Park has to offer during a FREE monthly series of activities that highlight different aspects of the park. Bring the entire family for a few hours of fun in nature!
It's that wonderful wildflower season, and the buzz of pollinators is all around! We invite you to join the fun with our bee-themed activities at the park and the Atwood Center. Enjoy a leisurely hike up to our beautiful hilltop prairie, get creative with some bee-themed crafts and games! We can't wait to share this delightful day with you—it's going to bee a fantastic time!
Please meet at Atwood Center (2685 New Milford School Road) and bring comfortable closed-toe or closed-heel shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, and an excitement for adventure!
In the Outdoors events are supported by Rock River Disposal. Pre-registration is highly recommended and appreciated.
