About this Event
Under the direction of MaryAnn Curzi, you’ll step into the wonderful world of tiny gardening and discover why terrariums are one of the most delightful ways to grow plants!
These miniature landscapes are not only beautiful to look at, but they’re fun to make, effortless to care for and surprisingly simple to grow.
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll create your own charming living garden inside a beautiful glass bowl, layering soil, stone, and carefully selected plants to design a little world all your own. We’ll share simple tips for plant selection, watering, light, and long-term care so your terrarium stays happy and thriving.
Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just starting to dip your fingers into the soil, terrariums are the perfect low-maintenance way to bring a touch of green indoors. Best of all, you’ll leave with a finished creation that’s as easy to care for as it is adorable. All materials included.
MaryAnn blends a lifelong love of art and nature into her creative plant designs. With a bachelor’s degree in art education and a master’s degree in education, she spent 30 years teaching art in New Jersey, earning Teacher of the Year honors and a Warren County Humanities Award for her illustration work.
After retiring, she continued her connection to the natural world while working with the Bridger-Teton National Forest in Wyoming. Today, MaryAnn brings her artistic eye and passion for plants together, helping others create beautiful living designs—where creativity and nature grow side by side.
